my favorite but oh so very classest newpaper the times
has finally begun offering delivery in my neck of the hood
as i come to find out after a breif sales call on the behalf of
the times, they have always delivered in my neighborhood
and now since i have been charged for a subscription since
august with out recieving a paper i will now get the weekly
paper in addition to the sat. and sun. i had orginally requested.
what a nice morning.
enjoying coffee and a newpaper.

i just finished my absentee ballot, i took extra care to make sure there were no hanging chads [?] i do belive thats what they were called.
i will be mailing it tomorrow
i was also suprised how may green party memebers are incumbents.
well reguardless i voted, too bad the rest of you have to wait til novemeber

spent my weekend, which consists soley of sunday since i work saturday, doing alittle fall cleaning. it was much needed i do believe. i got rid of some junk, found more things to sell at both at the consigment store, as well as the book store. i will also be donating some items. i vigioursly cleaned all the floors and base boards, cleaned behind all booksleves and couches, to remove any traces of dust bunnies and mouse poop.
i then made a trip to home depot to purchase 12 mouse traps, which proved to be quite resourceful, since i caught 6 last night. i fear the change in weather might bring an insurgence of them into the house, when durning the summer they were quite happy living outside. i am begining though to accept the fact that they are part of the neighborhood, and unless all neighbors and vacant houses decided to do something to terminate these rodents, they will persist. so i will use far too many mouse traps to catch them and they familes. bastards
on another note. i am calling into work today, i am hoping it will not cost me my job, though i feel the seed has been planted far enough in advance that no one would question my true motive of just needing two days off in a row. the need to do laundry and get some groceries not to mention vitamins to combat the fatigue.

i just can't seem to get a good hair cut in this town. i suppose thats just getting acquaintede with someone new, but after nearly a year of growing it out, i cut it all off again.

i have also decided to save my pennies to buy a nicole miller jacket from my work on the double discount. some how i can rationalize spending $200 on a winter jacket for several reasons: 1. it will be wearable for more than one season. 2. i will wear it nearly every day for several months, there for bring the cost down to only $$'s a day

noise, not an odd occurence, but as i turn around to look over
my shoulder... what do a see???
a pigeon.
it flew in my window and landed on the computer room floor.

on the move.
first i finally got a job
now i went to orientation, temple soon to be my alma modern (if thats even the word)
slightly altering my academic path
still intending on a major in anthro
though i am now minoring in economics, and obtaining a 'political economy certificate'
not leting financial aid problems get me down
seems alright reguardless.
deciding what to do with myself for the next 16 days while the mice and i hold down the north philly fort.
1. finish 3 scarfs
2. finish two books
3. watch alot of movies
4. eat alot of microwave popcorn
5. got to nyc to see detroiters
